There's a lot to be left to wanting here. The location is good for where you find yourself however there is trash everywhere. The rooms have a smell. It's not of lingering tobacco; their stance on that is a no-go that can cost upwards of $275.00 an occurrence.
However, overflowing trash and mud make for a difficult way of getting to the front of the hotel proper. And sad. They have a nice gas station next to the hotel (all but attached to one another at the far east end of the hotel). But walk fifteen feet into the hotel grounds proper and you find yourself in a slum like area where the hotel again misses the chance at making things work.
So many pluses turned to minuses so quickly. Missing the mark isn't doing it justice. I wouldn't eat the breakfast if I were starving. And the ice maker machines are as disgusting as the grounds and stairwells that surround them.

Friendly helpful staff, couldn't have asked for nicer people. Room was amazing, spa tub is absolutely relaxing. Clean grounds for the most part. It's an older hotel but we'll maintained. Definitely will stay here again. Thank you all so much for the hospitality.

Dirty. Dank atmosphere. Took forever to check in despite 5 personnel behind the front desk. Smelly, had to use air freshener. Poor ventilation in the room. Fleeced $175 a night for a $75 dollar room due to busy night in Fort Collins. Fixtures from 1970 with multiple aesthetic issues. Not reflective of owner pictures. Took a chance that it would be okay. Will spend more to stay somewhere nicer moving forward

Booked a room for 2 nights, through an outside app, paid in advance. Got to check in and they tell me there is a $100 deposit required as well as a pet fee (pet fee I was aware of, deposit I was not) didn't have the deposit, so I was refused service. I asked for a refund for the nights I paid for, the Korean woman behind the desk very rudely said she will not refund, but to contact the outside app, and she will verify the situation. Here it Is 3 days later, and the outside agency keeps getting the run around from the hotel as well, they have been told to call back number ours times. What a waste of time and money this paid reservation has caused me. I've stayed at other America's Best Hotels around the country and have never had this problem beware travelers

Bedbugs. Lots of bedbugs. I have 20+ bites from a weekend stay. When I notified the staff in the morning, they had nothing to say- no āIām sorry,ā no discount, nothing.
Spend just a little more for a place you can enjoy.
