Tried this for the first time. I love Thai food. I’m always am leery of ordering beef. They had 4 and half stars, so I thought I would try Nur Yang. The beef was supposed to be marinated. That usually helps with toughness of the meat. It’s gross to say the very least. They didn’t even offer my money back. Just said “Sorry, I’ll tell the manager.” My son picked it up and called them. I’m so disappointed:(
The Tom Yum soup is the best in town. However, I do not understand why there are inedible pieces of lemongrass in it. Why do I need to parse through the soup to avoid eating hard stems and leaves? I get these ingredients add flavor, but you cannot serve inedible pieces in a soup.
I ordered Drunken Noodles - my dish had so much oregano in it, it could have passed for a fusion creation of Italian Thai. The drunken noodles were not the same drunken noodles in other Thai restaurants. Unfortunately I didn't like their version of Drunken Noodles. I also ordered the Angel Wings. the wings were broken with sharp bone pieces sticking out. I wouldn't recommend the Angel Wings either! However, their Thai coffee was absolutely wonderful!
I got the sesame chicken with level 3 out of 5 spice and was very disappointed with what I got. Very small serving size for $13 and the chicken did not have any flavor except for the breading (which was a majority of the bites) and the sesame sauce. The Thai tea was good and the only reason I'm not giving 1 star. Would not suggest!
