If I could give a zero rating I would! We have been coming to the Fort Collins Carrabbas for 24 years for special occasions and just because. We noticed the last time (September 2023, our 35th anniversary) that the quality of our meal was not up to past standards. Today we decided to order a family bundle (chicken Parmesan) to bring home. I really don’t know where to start! I called in our order at around 1:00 for a 4:00 pick up. Must have gotten the new girl on the phone because she didn’t have a clue! I had to repeat my order four times and I got a distinc feeling there was no way she was going to get it correct. I called back and got the same gal and I said you didn’t even ask for my full name or phone number! Next thing I know she put me on hold and a guy answered. He retook my order and I verified with him that it would be ready at 4:00. When we arrived at 4:00, no one had a clue what or where my order was! We waited 35 minutes to get our to go order and when they brought it out it was nothing close to what I ordered. Had to continue waiting while they “fixed” the order! Mind you we drove 40 miles round trip for this! When we got home, our Chicken Parmesan was grease soaked and the edges were burned, couldn’t even cut it with a knife! I think it was days old and they reheated it. The pasta both the correct one and the one they told us to keep because it was the incorrect one were hard as a rock and tasted like a sticky mess with little to no sauce. The bread was so hard we could bounce it on our counter top! The salad was salvageable except the croutons were a soggy mess! We have never had such an all around horrible meal from Carrabbas! Between the gal at the register and the guy running back and forth from the kitchen, it’s no wonder nothing was right! The guy I am assuming was a kitchen manager or something to that effect, gave us some $10 gift cards for all the problems which was great, but the confusion of no one knowing anything was overwhelming. We didn’t even know how bad the food was until we drove all the way home and tried to eat it! This was a $73 meal plus 40 miles driving. We can get fast food that taste better than our meal from there. Would think my $73 should be refunded! So sad to think we have had such good memories from special occasions here and now pretty sure we won’t be coming back. There are far too many choices, especially closer to us.
We typically don’t get friendly service here but my husband and I love their Johnny Trio so we come back hoping for better. I can happily say that last night, the bartender Sarah, made our hopes come true. She was so genuinely nice and attentive. She gave us great service and made us feel welcome. We sincerely appreciated it. Thank you Sarah!!
This chain is off the chain! They take care of you with great service and delicious food. I’ve always loved the decor at these restaurants. We started with the calamari and fried mozzarella… so good. I love their sauce. Perfectly seasoned! The calamari was perfectly done and the lemon was a great touch! I had the chicken trio…. Man what a variety! Delicious chicken Marsala, chicken Bryan and the rose Maria… OH MY 🤤 my favorite depends on the day but the rose Maria hit the spot today. I love the sauces and the mashed potatoes were great. If you like lentils, GET THE SAUSAGE LENTIL SOUP!!! My wife had the chicken picatta and loved it. Had to take it home. My son had the chicken Parmesan and it looked fantastic. He said it was really good. My daughter loves their kids pasta and can’t get enough of it. She says they have the best sauce EVER! We will be back ❤️❤️❤️
We moved to Colorado 2 years ago and have been looking for an authentic Italian restaurant that was worthy of return business. Carrabba's Italian Grill had the best Italian cuisine, thus far. We will definitely be dinning here again. Not only was the food exquisite but the service was superb as well. The server made us feel like family.
Our waiter John refreshed my confidence in humanity. I have been a foodie for many years and have been continuously disappointed in the service that I’ve been provided until I met JOHN. Without hesitation, I can tell you that John knows what he’s doing and provided exemplary customer service this evening. He will be the reason that I tell others about coming back to Carrabba‘s Fort Collins, and that we ourselves come back. He was an absolute delight, and everything he did. it was not just coming to eat food. It was a delightful experience, and he guided our way through a very enjoyable evening.
