This is an older hotel so don’t have high expectations. With that being said, they are definitely still trying and haven’t thrown in the towel on maintaining a good place to stay. Our room was clean and smelled fresh. Bathroom was clean, there was some peeling of wallpaper in the bathroom which definitely showed the age of the place. Breakfast was your standard hotel free breakfast.
All in all, a decent place to stay…I’ve stayed in way worse that were comparable in price.

Had a pleasant greeting from Jacob at the front desk. 24/7 coffee! Definitely an above average Comfort Inn. Rooms very clean. A/C blew very cold on a very hot day. Clean hallways and stairwells with no weird smells. Only negative was every 3 minutes getting “signal loss” messages on the terrible satellite TV. I didn’t report it - too tired - just went to bed. Comfy bed! Free breakfast! And an indoor pool? Great value here for sure.

Check in was smooth. Once we got to the room it smelled weird. Clearly people smoking outside and around us. We stayed anyways due to short notice of being in town. The light in the living room area would trip every time we turned it on. There was part of a plug in left in the outlet, so one outlet next to the bed was unusable. The water temperature was all over the place during the shower. Checked my card after our stay and got charged an extra 100$ fee for "weed smoke" in our room. Tried to explain that the smell was there before us and all around in the hallways. Informed them that we work in healthcare and have to perform drug tests so it was definitely not us. Even offered to come take a drug test for them to prove that it was not during our stay. Still refused to refund the charge. Staff was very rude, interrupting me, not allowing any way to work this out, would not allow me to talk to the owner to get this squared away. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Spend the money for a nicer hotel!!

The rooms were clean and had a very heavy powder scent. Stayed on the first floor. It was quiet and comfortable. The location could be good or bad depending on how close you want to be to the interstate vs Old Town Fort Collins.

Stay at your own risk. The hotel is decent for what they charge, but the management at the hotel will try and force you out if you stay "too long." I stayed with my wife and our three kids, and we enjoyed everything except the management and housekeeping. There is a pool and several accommodations you can use at your own risk. The hotel overall was nicer than the one we stayed across the highway with the sheriff's office being called to the doors at night and sketchy atmosphere, not to mention our son getting bit by bugs and having reactions. So when we first showed up, we were optimistic and happy till we met the management. The one "supervisor" in this family run hotel was so petty and backward about her idea of customer service that me and my wife and I were constantly dealing with simple nonsense issues when she was on shift. During our stay the first time we saw this Supervisor and my first impression was a blonde woman in a pink outfit with a child and a grandmother having a yelling match in the front entry with a cup of water in the end being thrown at her. Idk what happened, but to say the least, the spectacle was something to remember. from random charges to our card for our stay that was pre-payed for just blatant rude behavior when addressing issues. Idk if maybe it's cause my wife and I are a mixed couple but if it wasn't for the management our stay woulda been great the only times we could get a positive response from the management was when one of the lone clerks on night shift was available. The random charges to our cards went from $200+ dollars to $20. It always happened when this individual was on shift. On the final day of our stay at 5:30am she had her last hurrah when the night clerk set up for breakfast. I personally asked him if it was okay for us to grab some breakfast, and his words were, "Yeah, it's no problem." The "Supervisor" showed up around 5:40 am. When she saw us in the breakfast area me my wife, our 1 year old daughter, and our two boys there must've been fireworks going off cause she locked up that kitchen so fast she must've thought we were stealing it. So I don't recommend coming here if you expect to have any sort of interaction with their staff. We were there for about a week, and when we were originally planning on staying for another, the "Supervisor" solidified our decision to stay an hour away and drive into Fort collins for cheaper and better accommodations. This time in an airBnb.
