Good location. 90% of Front desk staff were very accommodating. We had asked one male in the evening for the small bottle of water and were told our Marriott status does not allow us to get free water?? First hotel I have ever been in that does not leave water in your room. He charged our room $2.49 for water! After spending over $1,000.00 at the hotel, charging for water is bad customer service. Housekeeping was just okay. We had dirty glasses in our room that I needed to bring to the desk after two days of housekeeping ignoring them. I understand with all the staff storages it may be difficult to get good staff. The gentlemen who works in the restaurant was AWESOME. He was extremely busy but never showed stress. The hotel is under construction. We were given a Starbucks coupon for a cup of coffee for the inconvenience. Water pressure is almost non-existent. The hotel lobby was clean and welcoming. Overall good stay...not great for the money you pay.
The only reason they aren't getting five stars is because they advertise a steak house they do not have. Otherwise it's a great value for the other amenities they provide. We will definitely be back.
My husband and I are getting up in age and he is dying from cancer. We travel a lot in an attempt to make his last time enjoyable, and thus stay at a lot of hotels. There is one reason I would come back to your hotel. There is a young lady named Jade who epitomizes what hospitality should be. She is always smiling and friendly and asking how we are and if we need anything. She goes over and above. The travelling is difficult on my husband and he is sometimes very visibly ill. When others there would shy away as if he were a leper, Jade helped him when she saw he was struggling to walk and my hands were full. At one point he was too ill to get out of bed and she even offered to clean the room around him! In my opinion she was the very best that your hotel had to offer and is an immense credit to your location. As I mentioned, we stay at a lot of hotels and no one has impressed me the way she did. Kudo's to her!
Absolutely beautiful and absolutely comfortable!!! Love how you have outside access on the bottom floor through your room. Of you are looking for a hotel that offers everything well this one is it! The breakfast isn't free and kinda expensive but it's still worth it. They have a bar and Starbucks even in the lobby area. Rooms are good sized with a nice sized desk, fridge, and microwave. There shampoo/conditioner and hygiene are The Works brand and smell absolutely amazing. This hotel also offers all sorts of meeting rooms and has a gym.
The first room was dirty. Second room looked like it had been cleaned at some point. Carpet was circa 1980. No ice bucket or machine, no coffee maker, ghetto signs on the wall telling you how to shower. Staff was very helpful, especially the tacky bleach blonde manager. They gave us 1 free coffee coupon for 2 adults. You can pay for the second cup of hotel coffee at a premium. When we checked in the cleaning cart was parked in front of the woman's bathroom. When we went to dinner, the cart was still there. In the morning when I went to see which of my children I would have to give up to get coffee, the cart was still there. The cart is sitting in the direct view of the manager who is in no hurry to help you feel comfortable. You would be better off sleeping on the ground in front of a Waffle House. It appears the staff wrote previous reviews as we believed them and were very disappointed.
