I read about this place in a Facebook group and decided to give it a try for lunch today. I ordered a Reuben. I should’ve offered half of one. It’s a big sandwich. There was a nice amount of meat, the cheese was melted nicely, and the flavors were great. It was done on marble rye. It’s in a gas station, so it’s not big on atmosphere, but there are several tables, and the employees were very nice.
Green Light Cafe came up in a search for “food near me” when we were at the Indian Motorcycle dealer. Definitely didn’t expect this place to be as good as it was being in a gas station. The food was fresh and made to order. The staff is incredibly friendly and even passed out complimentary mini cookie desserts while we were there. I ordered the 1/2 and 1/2 Cuban and Greek salad. The meats in the Cuban were surprisingly juicy and well seasoned. I would definitely visit again when I’m FOCO.
Amazing hidden gem- I got the soup sandwich lunch combo with their tomato bisque (so good, with parmesan and croutons on top) and chicken caprese sandwich (also great) for $11. I love that they have a dine-in option with seating so I didn't have to eat in my car or waste a bunch of disposable containers! Extra bonuses- free pickle and adorable mini cookie. 😊
I felt that they were very skimpy on the meat on the subs. I feel when you go to a franchise you should have the exact same experience at each one. This was my first time at this one and I’ve always gone to Jersey Mikes in New Jersey and Pennsylvania so maybe it’s not Standard practice to load up the meat.
What a great find! I happened on this accidentally, but will be going back! What a jem!! Staff was wonderful and helpful. They offered a soup sample before I purchased my meal. They were kind and patient. I had soup and sandwich which were both fabulous! The chicken cheese tortilla soup is amazing!! Southwest club was delicious and the croissant was buttery goodness!! Highly recommended!!
