I would probably give it 4 stars under normal conditions because the staff was friendly, the place was clean and they had a nice breakfast BUT for 2 things - 1) When I checked in my room was 85 degrees, in July, at 8:00 at night. It only got down to 80 by 6 the next morning - rough night's sleep. And 2) No matter what channel the TV was on when I turned it off or how long it was off for, when it came on it was ALWAYS tuned to CNN. For the love of all that is good/great, make it something other than CNN. Plus, there were channels that did not appear in the guide (such as Newsmax) that you could tune to but needed to know what the channel number is. When it's 85 in your room, it's little things like the channels that become big irritating things.
This is a great place to stay. Clean, spacious rooms, friendly front desk staff. The jets in the hot tub weren't working, but it was hot. The pool was a decent temp.
Very attractive property! Contemporary and tasteful furnishings. The King Suite is very well laid out, and nicely appointed. Full Kitchen complete with dishes, silverware and a Full Size Refrigerator. Microwave and coffee maker was expected, but a dishwasher was a surprise. Basketball court on property, well lighted parking area with plenty of parking for the Hotel size. There is also a row of parking spaces along the West side of the Hotel to accommodate those who desire to park where a vehicle can be seen from the room. Pet friendly property with area to walk, as it is adjacent to some residential area. Large variety of dining, and shopping choices in close proximity. Medical facilities are also nearby. Staff was helpful and friendly. Direct TV with a large selection of channels (including locals). Can definitely recommend this property as a good value at the current pricepoint.
It was clean and relatively comfortable. The toilet leaked, so I had to shut the water off when not using it. This was going on for a while because the floor was soft in spots. I was a little worried I was going to fall through to the floor below. The parking situation was tough because 1/3 of their parking lot had big snow banks so you couldn't use those parts. With the hotel booked up on a Friday and Saturday night I didn't The first room I got checked in to (131) I had no cell phone service with Verizon. The pleasant front desk girl moved me to another room and it was fine. There's a Safeway grocery store within a 5 minute walk.
What a great hotel! My husband and I decided on Homewood Suites while spending time on Ft. Collins to visit our daughter and her family for a few days. We brought along our 50 lbs goldendoodle so our hotel choices were limited. The room was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed having a place to sit in the mornings and evenings. There was a comfortable sofa and ottoman to put up our feet and relax in the living room. The kitchenette was perfect for me to fix tea in the morning and have a little counter space so it didn’t feel cramp. When we brought in take out from a local restaurant or went to the front of the hotel for our grab and go breakfast we had a table and chairs to eat. Our dog loved the cool tile floor in the entry. Best of all the bed! It felt like our bed at home. It was the perfect firmness. We had a choice of pillows and the bedding was crisp and layered. I can’t say enough about our stay. It was more than we could ask for. I felt like we had packed our home and brought part of it with us. Such a comfortable stay. We will return the next time we come to see family.
