One of the best Mexican restaurants that I have eaten in. Server was very friendly, helpful with menu selections and efficient with serving our food. The music was a little loud for some the older people in my group but I thought it was fine.

The food was super tasty and we had a great time while we there. It’s in a great location and we loved walking there.
We are totally missing the amazing salsa bar that was there! Bring it back! We thought it was strange to pay an extra $1.50 for salsa that we used to get for free.
The portions were also pretty small and everything was very pricy for what you got on your plate.
The bathrooms also smelled like horrible sewer. We know it’s an old building but something needs to happen.

This is not your local Mexican dive. Prices are about $20 a plate but worth every penny. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The flavors well balanced and the menu has a good variety of choices. The cucumber cocktail was refreshingly delicious and the Cadillac margarita was quite good as well. The ambiance was fun as well. This is a gem of a place.

Los Tarascos is always good and consistently authentic. Their margaritas are top-notch, but definitely have a transportation plan before you start.
(2023 update): this is still one our favorite places for relaxed-classy Mexican dining and/or drinks. They have a new bartender as of a few months ago, name of Nicki. She's fantastic, and does a great job keeping track of who needs what when. Her Cadillac margaritas are consistently excellent, and service is always friendly and professional. Nicki makes it easy to call this our favorite Mexican place in Fort Collins.

What happened to this place????????? I went here last night so excited because I hadn’t been here in almost 7 years but was very disappointed my date, and I waited a very long time before anyone came and asked us for our drinks and then we waited a very long time again before anyone came and asked us what we wanted to eat and then, by the time we got our food I was really really upset because I always order the smothered burritos with the white sauce it’s my go to it’s my favorites feeling it’s delicious. What the hell happened to that? I got this thing that didn’t even measure up to the plate. I got a spoon full of beans in a spoonful of rice. My dates plate looks better than mine. I don’t know what happened to you guys, but I will never be coming here again. This was my go to favorite Mexican restaurant not anymore.
