I have had a number of great experiences here, both eating with small groups and enjoying private parties hosted in the upstairs space. The food is wonderful and the margaritas are amazing! Once, I was enjoying lunch with some colleagues when we were suddenly plagued by wasps (okay ... just ONE wasp, but he was big and fierce!). He bit me once, then wouldn't leave my table alone - he seemed to be enjoying my enchiladas as much as I was, because he kept landing on them. I decided to trap him on the plate using another plate, rather than suffer through his ongoing lingering. I had actually already eaten half of my meal and was pretty full. Nonetheless, without even asking, the manager was out of the kitchen in minutes with another plate of enchiladas in hand. It was so great and the perfect example of what I would consider an experience worthy of five stars ... great food, great environment (especially now that the wasp has been executed ... or perhaps humanely re-released into the wild? Who knows ... ), and amazing service! I've frequented this establishment throughout my nine years in Fort Collins and I'd never hesitate to recommend it to anyone. The service is consistently good, the food is delcious (a bit on the pricier side, but worth every penny!) and the atmosphere is relaxing.
What happened to you guys. Yes, I felt totally safe and comfortable eating here and the waitress was great, but what has happened to your food. I've been coming here on and off for thirty years in small family meals and large work parties upstairs. I ordered the chicken fajitas. They chicken was super dry and tasted like it had been heated in a microwave. Way to much rice (that was also very dry) and barely any peppers and onions. When did you change the way your meals are presented. The eggs in my son's breakfast burrito were over cooked, they were actually very brown on one side and dry. He will eat anything and to here him say " this is bad" says alot. I've always enjoyed coming here and was really looking forward to it. Sorry, but one star from me! I hope your kitchen goes back to the old way of doing things.
Best margaritas and cilantro lime chicken tacos in Fort Collins! This is one of the first places I ever went out to eat when I started visiting, and I come back every time! I love sitting on the patio. ☀️🍹🖤
Good food, great atmosphere, fabulous Margs!
I honestly come to this place once a year , mostly because it always disappoints, this past visit was a very poor experience, we reserved the airstream and I was expecting a different ambiance, more of an outdoor in Colorado type of experience, but instead I found a wooden table that probably cost $10 in a thrift store, a space heater that didn't work and looked ran down (very old), and the service was sub par, our waitress kept forgetting our order and brought the wrong drinks. Other restaurants in old town have put more effort in making your outdoor dining experience more comfortable by simply investing in better outdoor heaters and decorating the outdoor seating area up to a better standard.
