My last two experiences at Macaroni Grill would have earned about 2 stars. I'm giving a third because *usually* when I go there, the food is great and it's a good experience. But my carryout experiences have been subpar. The first time I ordered for curbside, the food was great but it was 45 minutes late. We ordered the feast for five to be ready at 5:00, I got there a little late and called, they said they'd have it right out. I waited about 20 minutes before calling again, and only then did they bring it out - after all was said and done I left with the food at about 5:45. This last time I ordered, the food was ready when I got there, but we got literally half the amount that we did last time (the salad container was half the size with lower quality lettuce, and the pasta container had about half the pasta in it that it did the first time). In addition, they completely left out the bread. It ended up not being enough for my family and we had to make something else. Also, there was something in the pasta - kind of looked like paper, but sturdier, maybe a piece of packaging or something. Not the best experience! I think we'll stick with Oregano's - they don't have a deal like that but it's a great experience every time, you always get a great bang for your buck, and a deal doesn't really matter if what you get doesn't live up to the promise.
We ordered a To-go order today. I did call a little before open and the staff were very nice , took my order and when I arrived a few minutes before open they let me in and allowed me to pick up my order early. The food was excellent and we enjoyed it very much. My wife had the Chicken Alfredo and I had the Spaghetti with Meatballs and added sausage. Thank you to the Staff of the Fort Collins Macaroni Grill. Allan
Took my preschool aged son here for a mother son dinner date before a church activity. It was a busy Saturday night but the service was good and the food came out quickly. A little on the loud side and the prices are a bit more than comparable restaurants but we both enjoyed our meals (I had lamb shank and he had a kid’s mac and cheese) and dessert (and ENORMOUS piece of chocolate cake that we shared and still brought home half of). It definitely has the chain restaurant feel but overall was a good experience.
Had a great experience here. We tried the Mamas Trio and a Parmisean Crusted Chicken salad which was drizzled with a balsamic glaze. Staff was friendly and everything felt safe and clean.
I would love to give them 5 stars for their great customer service, comfy cozy atmosphere, and fantastic food but what Italian restaurant runs out of pizza? My husband doesn't like pasta so he goes for pizza. He was forced to get their chicken parmesan (still delicious) but not what he wanted. They didn't do anything about it either. We would've at least liked an apology.
