No hot tub/ sauna. Best hotel we stayed at in Colorado. Kelly was amazing and saved the day! Simple accomodations near I-25. The dryer did not dry my clothes, they offered to let me use theirs so we could checkout on time. Large parking lot for truckers, and tucked away from the road and highway. Pet friendly with a fee.

Super 8 in Fort Collins......here we go. *Let me start by first saying that the ladies that were working at the front desk were both great. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. This review is strictly for the "pet friendly" part of the hotel.* So, my wife and I booked a room there on our way into town around midnight. We pulled in, grabbed our key and pug and headed to the room. Upon entering the hallway to the pet friendly area, you are blasted in the face with the smell of cat urine. Absolutely unbearable. Thankfully it's not as prevalent in the room. Once we entered the room our dog went nuts with all the smells of what one can only assume is urine. Being rockhounds, we happened to have a black light for looking for UV reactive rocks at night. You can see where this is going and I absolutely regret doing this. Blah. *I searched the room with the black light.* Thankfully, the bathroom, bed and majority of the room was spotless. However, I found where the unofficial dogs bathroom was......the chair. It. Was. Bad. I counted ten pee spots on one chair. Being the good dog owners we are, we went OUTSIDE to have our dog pee. Upon exiting the building I accidentally bumped into someone with the door.....there were 4 kids sleeping outside the door. There were kids everywhere sleeping outside. 3 kids sleeping behind Denny's across the street. 2 kids smoking weed in the back of the parking lot. The area was just super sketch. Not the hotel's fault mind you, but I personally didn't like it. In the end, if you need a *pet friendly* place to stay in Fort Collins area, I would look elsewhere. (I've posted pics of said pee spots. Only 4 because, well, do you really want to see them all?)
BED BUGS, DO NOT STAY. 7/3-7/5/21. Dirtiest room Ive ever been in- smelled super musty (apparently a sign of bed bug infestation) pet/human urine, and heavy deodorizers. Cheese on the floor behind fridge, bathroom in major cosmetic disrepair, Stepped in sticky stuff on the carpet; bed spreads were permanently scented with BO. We had to stay because we couldn't find a room in the area for the holiday.....and didn't realize we had bed bugs. (our first time) Reached out to hotel and corporate for refund, were told I'd have to call the owner to dispute my experience. The owner KNOWS what's going on at his hotel. I don't need to call!!! My bedbug bites were so bad the 7 day remainder of our vacation was ruined. I'll never stay at a Super 8 again. Not even mentioning the line of campers and druggies who live and park outside. If you read older reviews you'll see bed bugs mentioned multiple times. Found out Ft Collins and Colorado State health dept are behind on cleanliness standards being issued to hospitality businesses because of covid....as medical locations have taken priority. So basically, I have scars from the bites, an allergic reaction rash that lasted weeks, a ruined vacation, no refund, and no consolation from the state regulating this stuff. Be careful where you book; it sounds like hotels are not often held to the standards they should be unless it's in-house.
It was clean and quiet. The room was roomy enough to be comfortable. The lady that checked me in was very friendly and we had a good chat.
