This was my first time and I ordered for delivery the pineapple fried rice. I was disappointed. The rice was mushy and not mixed well, there was absolutely zero spice or flavor to the dish and they did not include any chili sauce which I requested. I will go elsewhere next time.
Pad Thai and curries (red and massaman) have been consistently great. If you like a kick, go for the medium pad Thai (as opposed to the mild one). For the curries, the regular level of spice has the perfect kick. While I’m still to try all Thai restaurants in town, so far this is my go to option.
What an awesome place. The coconut rice along with the pineapple curry was amazing as well as the service
Okay, so I don't know what happened. A while back, this place closed temporarily for several weeks. Before that, it was my favorite place in town for Pad Thai. Afterwards, you probably couldn't pay me to go there. New owner or management, maybe? New recipes and menu, definitely! The last time I ordered, I basically tossed $30 on JUST me down the drain for an app and main dish that went immediately in the garbage. I'd advise anyone looking for good Pad Thai to just move along.
I gave a 3 because the curry dish was good, However, my husband & I visited this restaurant often in the past. It had a quaint atmosphere with low lighting & small candles at each table. Now the atmosphere is similar to a fast food restaurant. We will not return. Sadly Thai Pepper is not even close to what it used to be. VERY different. 😞
