Our visit to Fort Collins was made all the better by our stay at this hotel. Parking is convenient ($20 for self parking is steep but it's city parking prices for anything longer than 2 hours). The location is ideal...right at the bottom of old town, so a convenient walk to anywhere. The entrance is amazing and really sets the tone for your experience. Staff is incredible....knowledgeable, kind, professional, helpful. The grand staircase with led lighting; the bright entrance with dark accents; the leather-type walls around the room doors....all present a luxury, high-end feel. The rooms offer it all: Comfy beds; modern tvs with phone-enabled remote option; light dimmers; and a record players (with a great record selection....and you can even borrow musical instruments if you are up for it). The bathroom is next level perfect too: Lit mirror; dimmers; glass shower door; large shower with pressure/temp controls at the entrance (so no need to get wet before the water temp is good!). The restaurant was closed when we visited, but the reviews and space looked nice. My family and I can't wait to return ... this place really set a high bar for a hotel experience. We highly, highly recommend staying here.
Went for drinks. With the sound of the band that I could hear from a block away, I expected a big venue in the first floor lounge, but it was actually very small with no available seats. We made it way to the fifth floor quiet lounge (why is the elevator nearly impossible to find?) and enjoyed our drinks there. Probably no reason to return here.
Wow, this is the much-needed moment from the second we walked through the door. This is the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed at. My Irish husband and I were thoroughly impressed with location, ambience, and especially the staff. Absolutely magical. Thank you to James and all the staff for the 5 star service.
My husband and I were able to enjoy the Music Suite last night and it was phenomenal. The decor was gorgeous, the views were stunning, but that’s not why the trip was fabulous. Literally every staff member was kind, friendly, helpful, warm and knowledgeable. We were celebrating our anniversary and all these incredible people made our stay memorable in the best possible way! Thank you all so very much!!
I don't know where to start. We actually were supposed to be staying there the nights of 9/3 and 9/4 for a wedding. The brides step-dad was paying for our room for both nights. However, we called the hotel the day of 9/3 and asked if we could check in early and they said yes. We went to the front desk and the guy informed us that he would need our card just for incidentals and parking. I asked, "This is just for incidentals?" and he said yes. He swiped my card and gave us our keys. Walking out the front door, I check my bank account just in case. He charged my card $805! I ran back in within 5 minutes of this transaction and told the girl there what happened (the guy was busy with another guest). She said that she would go talk to her supervisor. She came back out and said that the authorization was canceled and it would be back on our card in 1-2 hours. I didn't really trust them so I called my bank. They said they did not see any such cancelation and they called the hotel to get more details. The hotel supervisor told my bank that it would actually be 3-5 business days, mind you this is over a holiday weekend. The hotel did not seem to care what happened at all. I never got an apology or an kind of "we'll make this right" attitude. I would NEVER stay here. Oh, and our room was not nice. There was a weird splatter on the back of the door and the remote didn't even work. It also smelled really musty.
