My trip to Fort Collins was unplanned. My stay at the Elizabeth was to find a place of Serenity and peace, and a change of scenery before i could return home. The hotel provided the serenity, peace of mind, and change of scenery I was looking for. The hotel has a fun and whimsical design which was beyond beautiful. The on-site restaurant provided wonderful meals. The hotel, restaurant, and room was very clean. I would stay here again, if my travels ever bring me back to Fort Collins. The hotel has parking in the parking garage next door. The surrounding down town area is cute and quaint and very walkable. The eventide late night entertainment district surrounds the hotel, and allows for a night out on foot. P.S. The hotel has record players in everyone room. In the lobby is a huge vinyl collection that you can check out and take back tobyour room to play. They also have a number guitars in the same area you can check out and take up to the room and play and then return at a later time. This hotel is worth the stay, make it a must stay for you. Make your own memories here.
This is such a fun place to stay! Late review for a stay last year! The location is great, the staff, above and beyond accommodating. They offer free music instrument rental/check out to guests! The room was really clean, beautiful view & relaxing. Close to Cafe's, shops, bakery, restaurants, entertainment, museums..etc ✨
What an incredible hotel! In fact it is a must see if you are visiting Fort Collins. The attention to detail and uniqueness is unsurpassed. The staff at the hotel were superior, especially Larry. He went out of his way to accommodate special requests we had. He did it with a huge smile and incredible kindness. Thank you Larry and team for an awesome visit. We will be back.
You’re paying for the location, but that’s about it. Our room was no where near impressive for the price point. Unfortunately, we got placed in the furthest back room near the gym and heard people come in and out throughout the evening. It’s a dog friendly hotel which is a cool concept, but for a $300/night hotel- id prefer to not have stains all over the carpet and to hear crying and whining dogs all night long. You get a tiny bar of soap and thinnest cheapest toilet paper and sandpaper like Kleenex. I was not impressed.
I have had the opportunity to stay in a lot of FC hotels over the years, and without question the Elizabeth is in a class of its own. For the slight bit more $ you will likely pay (over say Armstrong or Hilton), you will find a modern, clean and classy hotel. The food is a bit expensive and restaurant is currently understaffed, but it is a small price to pay. Make sure and spend an hour in top-floor cocktail lounge...
