I ordered the mussels and they were cooked well but the sauce they came in wasn't great. Very salty and sticky and not what I expected. The picture online looks like they come in a delicious red curry sauce so I was expecting that. The tom yum soup doesn't really compete with anything I've tried around town. As of now, not my choice for Thai food in Fort Collins, though. Maybe I will give it one more chance and try something else on the menu.
We needed a quick lunch and luckily chose Tom Kha Thai Asian Bistro. We ordered green chili and general tso’s chicken. Now we are kind of green chili snobs, our favorite two places to have it is US Thai in Denver and Pure Thai in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan NYC. Tom Kha has been added to the list. Very good. The General Tso’s was very good too. Service was quick, friendly, and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. We’ll definitely come back when in Ft Collins.
My boyfriend and I have been coming here since they opened and we LOVE it. I’m picky about takeout and want it to be perfect, and I truly believe this place delivers. The green curry is amazing with crisp, fresh green beans and perfectly cooked meat. The pad Thai is so flavorful and well cooked with great toppings. The larb salad is always great, and the stir fry dishes have always been amazing too. We rarely find something we don’t love here. I would highly recommend this place, and I never have left a Yelp review before but I thought it was worth it here! Atmosphere, service, and food are all excellent.
As a tourist visiting from all the way Texas, thought of having nice Thai food, we ordered through phone and the hostess said for extra brown rice ,they will charge a dollar, but instead it was double. ...then putting extra tofu and veggies was almost 1/4th of the original curry price.. I specially ordered mild soup for my kids, but omg the spice level was extremely hot ,it was not edible for even adults. It was almost impossible to taste food ,coz you already burned out your mouth...
I feel badly writing this review because I’m sure the owners and cooks are friendly and nice people but I had to leave a review. I’m from NY and I’ve had my fair share of Thai food from very bad to very good and everything in between. I am not exaggerating when I say this is by far the worst take out in general I have ever had in my life if I’m being 100 percent honest. Me and 10 friends ordered a plethora of food ranging from Drunken noodles to pad see ew. I have never had food that is so bland in my life. The drunken noodles were made with glass noodles…. Which is wrong and we’re completely void of any flavor. The pad see ew was made with some of the lowest quality noodles I’ve eaten. The pad see ew tasted like they boiled slice of chicken with no seasoning and boiled some broccoli and overcooked fettuccini pasta and tossed it together. It was unbelievably disappointing. Usually I don’t leave bad reviews but this place was so exceptionally bad I felt wrong not warning others. I hope this place is able to turn it around but personally I would not give this restaurant another go.
