Vern’s Place is a very quaint and peaceful place to eat some delicious homemade food. Everything tastes like it’s right from mom’s kitchen. Best burger I’ve had in a very long time. Large beef patties, green leaf lettuce, and REAL pickles! Big ones! 🤤 The fries and onion rings are spot on. The ranch dressing was a little thin, but still tasty. The waitresses are very sweet and genuine. It was the perfect place to take in the view after a drive in the mountains.

To begin I very much enjoyed my Snickers latte and my husband really liked his Bloody Mary’s! The cinnamon roll French toast was delicious! The hash browns were good and the bacon was great! My husband thought his breakfast burrito was good but the sausage was a little weird (served chopped instead of ground). My dad had the meat omelet and thought it was just okay. In addition, we all shared the biscuits and gravy and unfortunately, the gravy on the biscuits seemed a little off. We couldn’t put our finger on it, but the flavor was simply “not right”. Overall a good experience and I’m sure we will be back to try the lunch or dinner menu!

This picture was my mom's country fried steak dinner. I'll get better at taking pictures before folks start eating... We visited at about 2:00 p.m. Memorial day Sunday, so it was too early for baked potatoes (they were not available), but we were still able to have breakfast as well, just before the cutoff. As you can see the dinner portion filled the plate. I had the breakfast portion, at about 70% the size and a few dollars less, I would suggest going this route and substituting the three eggs that come with it for something else, for my mom next time. The only down side was the price of an iced tea, mostly ice, for $2.99. Next trip there, I will try the Rueben sandwich that another table had ordered, they looked great.

We've been going here for over 10 years. The place has changed a lot over the years, but we are never dissappinted. The service is always great and the food is delicious. They have recently added more seating, which is great...although we will miss shopping for tidbits while waiting for our food. I most recently had the "green and white".Superb. Two buttery biscuits, one smothered with white gravy, the other smothered with green chile.

Had a good time sitting on patio having breakfast. The pecan rolls are the best! Just a heads up the place gets very busy. Friendly Staff!
If you like to bike ride there is a trail from Fort Collins all the way pass here. Mostly flat riding.
