Great little place. Famous for it's cinnamon rolls and boy oh boy they didn't disappoint. Ample portion sizes for hungry travellers. The staff was patient even during a busy brunch crowd. This place is right in front of the Wanderlust Adventure a rafting place. We came here right after some rafting and spent a good hour or so on the outdoor patio dining area.
The staff are very prompt and very helpful for our group of people today. The staff helped us immediately got our orders in and every time we needed a refill on coffee they were right there very courteous and for four of us eating and six drinks to be only $57 can't beat those prices. Definitely will be back and thankful for these businesses to be open and service that is very reliable. We will definitely be back pretty cool seeing the animals on the walls too. At that cabin like feel to it that's really cool feels like you're up in the mountain somewhere away from everything but you're still in a small town.
Fantastic cinnamon rolls! Not great service.. I ordered a drink and it was never refilled. When I asked for a refill to-go I was charged for a second drink. I didn’t want to be rude, so I paid it, but I will not be getting another $24, cinnamon roll, fries, and drink for lunch any time soon.
The food was delicious, and one of the few places that has the soda on point. Perfect carbonation to syrup ratio. I would have given five stars, but it was the overall experience from the servers that was off putting. They just weren't very pleasant, and observing them while waiting for my food didn't change my opinion.
Vern's has changed. The little fishing store is gone and the restaurant h gas taken over the space. The food is good home cooked style food. Nothing fancy but the food is very good and the service I us excellent!
