I used to really like this place. Have ordered a few times in the 1.5 years we've lived in the neighborhood. But something must have happened and the take out experience last night was downright terrible. For one, had to wait for over an an hour for the order.
The rolls were absolutely a mess, and something has gone off with the flavor. Finally, you would expect more wasabi and ginger with a $60 order.
Sadly, one more FoCo place to never visit again for us.

We ordered takeout at 6:09 p.m. and it said it would be ready at 6:54 p.m., but I called at 7:05 and it said it was going to be another 15 minutes, which I was fine with, but when I went in it wasn’t ready and I had to wait at the restaurant until 7:55 pm, so 2 hours for takeout. And the food was not warm/fresh when we ate it and they totally copped us on this $6 seaweed salad that was 2 bites. I thought they would offer us a discount for the 2 hour wait when it was supposed to be 45, because I definitely wouldn’t have ordered if I knew it was going to take that long, but I guess not.

I spent $92 dollars and received the worst rolled and cut rolls I think I've ever gotten. We are hungry and my husband was already late coming home, so.. Can't really spend another hour and a half waiting for new food. This is the third time out of the many times we have ordered from here that have been like this. The last time was on a Saturday, so we just accepted what we got but it's a Tuesday night.. For anything nearing $100 to get this is unacceptable. Looked fine before opening, he had checked before he left, but all of the rolls are falling apart and the special rolls are severely lacking on things like tobiko that are in the description of the roll. The tempura is mushy even though he was waiting there to pick it up. The only thing not pictured was the crispy rice appetizers which were burnt. So expensive for something so sub par.

Came here for dinner with my boyfriend and was blown away! The spicy k Ramen was phenomenal, and my bf said his sushi was delicious. We'll definitely be coming back soon.

This place is absolutely amazing! Hands down best sushi place in Fort Collins. Way better than that other one down the road. Better beer, they have an IPA from a Japanese microbrewery. There's a sushi robot here!!! And the staff is super friendly.
Previous review: I'm not qualified to judge high quality sushi. That being said, I was impressed by the tasty eel sashimi! The employees were attentive and the atmosphere was relaxing. I appreciated the Totoro and mushroom art 🤩 this place would be great for a date night. I want to come back and try the jalapeno bomb.
